19 - The Sun-Child

Everything circles the Sun. The planets and moons....our lands and our oceans...even the neighbor's cat circles this life giving ball of gas !

The Sun is a provider...a source from which we draw light, heat, and energy. Without it...everything that we know around us would perish. It is the 'SOURCE' of our continued existence   here on Mother Earth. That is why this card is highly favored by many as the "Good Blessings" card.

Given the Fool continues to walk in the Light, at some point she will encounter the source of that light. When she arrives, the Fool will be given the gift of the Sun's true power: Enlightenment !

Holding the Sun card in her hands, the Fool becomes the Sun-Child, an enlightened version of her innocence:...spotless in physical health...flawless in understanding...radiantly energized with the TRUTH. Joy has now filled her very being. Unlike before when she only 'felt' young at heart, the Sun card invigorates the Fool to BE young and live well ! Let's look at a version of this card we're familiar with for comparison.

                                                     

Here the Sun is magnificent and taking it's rightful place as master in the sky. The child is riding a white horse and carrying a red banner to symbolize her pure innocence while harnessing the energy and authority of the Sun. In the back we also see sunflowers growing strong in Father Sun's rays.

Similarly in our new version, the lady has a fair complexion and frame, hinting to her likeness of an innocent child, unashamed to show her body towards the light...honoring her true enlightened self in the Sun's warm ray embrace.

She has walked and lived through 18 other cards to get to this stage where she finally realizes the TRUTH...

...WALK IN THE LIGHT ALWAYS...

...for it is this light that protects us, guides us, provides for us, and loves us. 

In the very Bible it is written: 

 

    "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

 

       And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.  God saw that the light wasgood, and he separated the light from the darkness..."

 

Let this Light be your SOURCE...where you turn for help. Let the Sun's power protect you from darkness and keep your soul full of energy to continue to walk this Path of Life till there is no more path to walk. Be a child of the sun !
