~Silent Voices~

A man went for a stroll down memory lane

Tripped and stumbled

Fell on past pain

Face first—down a dark hole

The further he fell–the darker it got

Finally hit bottom, just like a rock

Silent voice in the darkness:

“Just stay there and lay still”

Memories start flashing through his mind like a dream

It hurts and its painful

He says: “why did this happen to me?”

~Still afloat and shining brightly~

The voice of reason is a lonely buoy floating upon the seas of ignorance and opinion.

Waves of hate-and-malice crashing into it day and night.

Yet the buoy remains.

Ever diligent in its effort to keep the sailors out of harms way.

~It was just a dream-Go back to sleep~

Some nights

I find it hard to sleep

When inside

Empathetic-Notions creep

Too many perceptions

Of egregious social disease

Pontificating the possible cures

Visions of a happy world

From atop the tallest tree

Hearing nothing but echo

It sets in

No one is listening

But me

Others don't get… Continue

~The Gift~

We are all born with a gift

It is intended to be shared

Stop listening to the talking heads

Pretending like you don’t care

It is instilled in us–just like stardust from above

It is one simple word

That word is (love)

Take this word out into the world and share it

Together we can all make life much less scary

There is too much hate

An overabundance of greed

Dividing the… Continue

~Down in a hole~

Way down deep–in a pit of despair

Lay pessimistic notions

Telling you that no one cares

Cynical tirades–writhe with self loathing lust

Loving to hate life–a brainbowl full of rust

Nobody put you there

It was you alone

Leave forever you must now

Before it becomes your home
