Despite appearances (as is ALWAYS the case in this kind of "reality") the Feminine contribution to this Duality Wooden Sculpture is not playing some manner of lesser or subservient role to the Male. Quite to the contrary - the Male in this wonderful creation is absolutely dependent upon the Female's foundational role; and therein lies the "twist" to this enigmatic piece of masterfully rendered artwork.

As with some other residents of my sanctum, the Master Carver responsible for this wondrous creativity is unknown, yet his/her imaginative creativity writes its own individual legacy upon the pages of physicality...

...not a bad way to be represented yesterday, today, tomorrow - always.
