Interesting...
Carmen ... I am so glad to be helpful. I forgot to add that pine syrup tastes good on waffles (pancakes too) served with a fried egg on top.
Did you make your own elderberry syrup?
Before I left home (my parents) I utilized my parents property for a medicine chest ... everything you can think of (except tropical plants). My mother wanted to take care of some out-of-control 'weeds' (I don't care for using the term 'weeds' because most are very medicinal and helpful in some way, and edible too), and asked my brother to pull a few. Before my mother knew what he was doing, he sprayed poison all over the property to take the easy and quickest way out ... he hates gardening (got that from his dad), but my mom thought he would be careful because he knows how much she depends on her garden for medicine, especially through the winter. My mother is freaking out because a lot of the plants she depends on for medicine and food are dying, and she doesn't know what to do. I told her to water a lot to flush the poison through the ground quicker, and hopefully stem the dying.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
WOW, thank you, Minque, may be this is what I need right now!
I have elderberry syrup, I will add the pine syrup to it!
Thanks, again!
Does not smell like Pine-Sol.
Pine syrup has a number of uses ... added to sparkling water makes a nice refreshing soda; added to a tea adds a citrusy hint (quite delicious); added it to marinades as the sweet component for meat; but the best for me is how well, when combined with elderberry syrup, treats a scratchy/sore throat, a pesky cough, and if taken as soon as you know you are coming down with a cold/flu it will shorten the viruses cycle.
WOW, that Chai tea, yes, sounds delicious, and what do you use the pine syrup for? It also sounds delicious and refreshing, because of the pine smell!
