To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Lady Asherah, Inanna, Lilith and many other Middle Eastern Goddesses were venerated at such Temples, as mentioned, usually to be found on hill-tops or mountains. These were all eventually destroyed by Religious zealots wishing to eradicate the Goddess religions.

This is an example of the "High Places" or Goddess Temples of old, commonplace around the world once upon a time and which are mentioned so often in the Bible, which the patriarchs were charged to attack and destroy.
