This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.
To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realizes that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.
She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

Who ever knew, that Athena's name means "self created"(basically)?
Athena is a pre-Olympian snake goddess. Once upon a time, Athena, Medusa and Neith were the Triple Goddess!
Athena loves snakes, which as we know are indicative of the Kundalini energy which is the life force of the universe in human beings and all other bio-organisms. The reason serpents arise from the crown of Medusa , Athena, Manasa Devi and many other ancient and prehistoric goddesses, is to show that the Kundalini, which is likened to a serpent which dwells at the roots of the tree (our root chakra), rises through the gates of the seven main chakras along our spinal column and emerges at the crown chakra when fully awakened.
Kundalini is indigenous to the old Goddess religions, which is one of the reasons WHY the serpent was chosen as the Debbil in the Bible, but that's another story altogether.
Bye for now and Brightest of Blessings to you and yours, Goddessians!
Blessings and power and honor and everlasting joy to the Great Mother within and without of all things )O(
The name, Maat, originates in the universal word for "mother".The ancient way of Maat is that of following the path of Truth, which is one of the highest virtues.
When Thomas the Rhymer was taken to the realms of the Faery Queen, he stayed there for a long time in earthly years, however, it seemed to him as if it were all in the space of a dream. When he returned, he was gifted by the Queen with a few skills and abilities, such as the gift of playing musical instruments and the ability to divine or foretell future events. Another gift which was bequeathed to Thomas, was the gift of being totally unable to lie. He could only tell the truth!
What a world it would be if everyone was given the same gift, and could never return it...there'd be no fake friends to worry about, would there?

Wishing everyone a merry and blessed Solstice! Everything of the best to you and yours as the wheel ever turns )O(
Apsaras are female forest and water spirits or Faeries, often manifesting as Mermaids. They are also known as Pari, a name which is practically the same as the name of Arabian nature spirits, Peri.
These beautiful nature spirits live in trees, like the Dryad Nymphs that dwell in Oak trees, and they tend to prefer trees which symbolize either male or female genitalia. They reputedly are in the entourage of the Lord of Love, Kama.
Apsaras are excellent dancers and are to said to frequent the ancient ruins of formerly magnificent sacred Temples.
Grand Bassin lake in Mauritius is sacred to the Apsaras. Apsaras are featured in myth and folklore in India,Cambodia and Thailand.
