The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realizes that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

Thanks, Pepper ~ I have one in my little cave and it looks just amazing when the full moon shines directly onto it. And hey, the tattoos were relatively painless when I had them done this time around... as an aside, the power of suggestion really works! lol, I chickened out and took a painkiller before I was due to go in.

And I didn't feel a thing the whole way, even though it was supposed to be in a painful site for tattoos.

When I got back home, I told my partner all about the pain-free session and how resilient to pain I am.

Well, she just about died herself laughing! The"heavyPainkiller" I took was actually aspirin, as she had filled the empty prescription bottle with the aspirin when the original packet containing the aspirin went missing somehow.

Its like spelling yourself to awaken to a new day given by the Goddess to us to do with as we wish; by saying things like, "Im going to have a terrible day today at work"; "I hate so and so at the office"; "I hope Im not sick today, anything bad could happen if im not careful" etc. This is Black(harmful) Magick, and as thoughts become things, so words have tremendous power.

Most people spell themselves to the point where they are truly living in a self-created hell.

Naturally, we are blessed by the gracious Goddess to be immune from such self-inflicted poisons as we progress and advance through our own abilities, accepting full responsibility for all of our deeds, words and thoughts and creating the life we love as we go.

Everyone who can speak is a magickian. The Universe is made up of a myriad of vibrational frequencies, as Goddess Isis demonstrates. Thus words can be used to both heal and harm, and as all creation arises from sound; our words, the sounds we make; are the Magick!

The Goddess teaches that this Power, in Word, is to be used with a great  sense of responsibility... and as it is and can be used by those ignorant of the interconnectedness of us all, to harm; the healing power of the word must be directed where it provides the ideal anti-venom.

As all that comes from ourselves, returns again times three; it is perhaps a wise thing to become conscious of living in the now and to ensure that the benefits times three keep on rolling in.

And as you mention, Pepper, when walking with Goddess, chances may be that along the way one will meet up with many :)

Yes I know exactly what you mean here Zeph and I love your analogy of the disco ball!!  My own thoughts exactly!  All are aspects of the 'Divine' and you are drawn to whichever one will aid your journey at the present moment you are in :)

Hahahaha yes that does sound interesting indeed but I know what you mean...I was there on Friday night!!!  Hope all goes well and looking forward to seeing it!

Thanks, Pepper!

Isn't that picture of Isis and Nephthys stunning?

Pan and Selene was the title of the pic, I don't know who made it as there were no credits available. Well this is the wonder of Pagan spirtuality to me, that all Goddesses are One Goddess, and all Gods one God. There are so many aspects of the Divine, both in male and female form, and as many androgynous; I like to see the Divine as a multi-faceted Witch Ball, those ones which were fashionable as disco balls back in the days of the dinosaurs, you know? :))

Anyway, I see every piece of mirror on the ball as an individual aspect, face, or concept of the Divine, integrally part of, yet simultaneously distinctive from; the Centre.

So each person, when called by Goddess, will naturally gravitate towards that aspect which appeals most. Some will stick with one Goddess for a long while, even a whole lifetime or more; others may feel attracted to many Goddesses.

Often, your Goddess may introduce the seeker to others to learn with; both male and female, and of myriad appearances and manifestations .

Thanks for the nice chat, Pepper, and with that, it's off to the tattoo parlour for a good long session of intense pain and pleasure ~ whoops- a -daisy, now that sounds baad!lol

Wonderfully explained Zeph :)  Wonderful imagery there too dearest!

Indeed to become whole we must accept all of ourselves, shadow and light.  Like a snake shedding its skin to be renewed!! :)

Isis and Nephthys

Note that Isis represents the Light, and Her Sister Nephthys, the Darkness. This is the Yin and Yang, or Pillar of Severity and Pillar of Mercy; and in the centre, is the Tao, or Pillar of Moderation in Quabalistic terms.

This duality is a reflection of the Cosmic reality we live in; and is not the same as Dualism, which contradicts Nature.

All of the Gods and Goddesses thus reflect the Yin-Yang or duality of the Universe as appearing to our human eyes.

Classically, the God is the Yang, while the Goddess is the Yin. As such this duality is present in every living thing, within. We all have a Shadow, a dark side that must be completely integrated into the Higher Self. This implies a necessary death, in order to Transform ~ as a caterpillar  becomes a glorious butterfly and leaves the old habits, attachments, and what it thought it knew, behind it.

Sorry I called the image I was speaking about - the Lord and Lady but you have it named Pan and Selene ;) Just to clarify :)

Oh that picture below here of the Lord and Lady is one of my absolute favourites!!!!  Thank you for posting that dear Zeph!!!  I am loving the other images too :)

I am really looking forward to reading your piece you mentioned there. Its something I always felt...that correlation between all these 'Mother' figures.

I too finally get about the duality...its about being one and the same just different aspects of the whole.  Each being part of the whole but having different energies that work in unison as you showed here with the Yin/Yang symbol.

Have a blessed day/night and thank you again :)

Love to you dearest Zeph )O(
