The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realizes that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

Appreciated ~ I didn't write up an in-depth article on the Goddess; and I agree with and appreciate your comments :)

In a broader sense, I equate Nephthys with Lilith and Isis with Inanna. The same dynamic is present here. To avoid confusion, Ereshkigal is an aspect of Lilith as Queen of the Underworld.

Though there again, it must be said that Isis also appears in a funerary aspect , as does Azar as Lord of the Underworld and of the dead.

Thanks for your insightful comments !

Goddess of the day ~

Pele is the Hawaiian Goddess of Creation. a

Goddess Pele' is responsible for forming the islands from within Herself, deep within the bowels of the Earth.

Playing with the burning lava, bringing it up from the planet core to overflow into the Ocean;  Pele' creates beauty out of Chaos, and binds free-flowing energy into form, as to embody spirit in matter.

And that, my dear friends, is what Goddess people do! Go and spiritize matter, and it will return back to you ~ always xxx

Only when the inner darkness is embraced as much as the light can real and tangible spiritual progress be made. Nephthys is the wife of Set, the God of Death, and also the sister of Isis, with whom She worked together always as complementary sisters of light and darkness should do.

Nephthys, Dark Queen of Light

Note in the diagram of the Ennead of the First Gods, that the primordial Nun is the source of All things. This is the Greater Lilith, Greater Kali, or Kali~ Maa; Durga-Maa, or TiaMat, or Anzu. The Great Mother, or Dark Mother.

The first two Divinities which emanate from the infinity of Space or the watery abyss, are the Serpent Apophis, the World Serpent, or Ophion ~ Damballah, and Sobek, personified by a Crocodile , representing all watery creatures from fish to seahorses.

Neith is the Daughter of Nun; the Great Mother, and is Lilith and Kali and Durga ~ Ra is the God of Light, or the Lucifer of Diana; and all life flourishes from there on as Yin and Yang combine in natural harmony.

The Pyramids were used to amplify vibrational harmonics , as an aside ;)

The pyramids were capped with stones called Ben-Ben stones. The main pyramid at Giza was said to have a solid crystal Ben-Ben , and this one below was engraved with the symbol of the First Gods, the Winged Disc.

The Goddesses Wadjet and Renenutet the Cobra Goddesses are entwined around  the Disc. This symbol is common to all ancient civilizations and became the symbolic Dragon of Pagan Spirituality.

Hi Janet, the more I read of Doreen Virtue the more I appreciate the wonderful diversity of the natural universe. Just imagine if everyone was exactly the same in every way? (shudder). I'm busy reading the part on Metatron right now. The more I read on Deities, Divinities and All, the more I come to understand that the various aspects of the Divine are interrelated.

For example, did you know that the Serpent Goddess Wadjit of ancient pre-dynastic Egypt had a Temple of the Oracle and that this was the predecessor of the Temple at Delphi?

or that the earliest appellation of Isis was Ma, or Mami ~ and that this is where Mami Wata of  Vodoun and Obeah Traditions derives her Name?

That Set and Horus were always regarded as one Divinity, the Twins of Light and Darkness; and this mirrors the Twin Sisters, Isis and Nephthys ~ Isis being known as Au-Set(Lady of the Throne),  and Set (Throne) , later becoming known as an evil god, although this was obviously a later distortion of the truth by patriarchal writers.

Studying the classic Egyptian myths will confuse anyone who cannot see the Yin and Yang below and above .

As I said, the more one reads and learns about things, the more the amazing "co-incidences" pop up between seemingly unrelated Divinities from different ages .

If one looks at things from a comparative viewpoint, then it becomes clear that the Goddesses and Gods remain the same over the millennia; being known by many different Names. It is only the perceptions of people that seem to change?

The Goddess carries on regardless :)

Hi, everyone :)

As Goldmund says, the Divine Feminine is all of these things, and all of us have the same energies within us. All She asks is that we open ourselves up to Her cosmic flow in perfect love and perfect trust ~

We all experience the Goddess in unique ways, and all traditions are sacred to the Goddess. No one is above anything else, and the Great Mother is the mother of all.

I have been reading an amazing book which my partner received as a festive season gift, written by an amazing woman by the name of Doreen Virtue. And this morning, I opened up the book randomly. The Name Maat appeared to my eyes and I just can't resist sharing .

So as soon as I have finished reading Emili's article I will post something which fans of this stellar Goddess may enjoy.

Goddess Blessings )O(

The Great Mother Goddess is the primal Creator of All, and we are humble students of Her Mysteries.

Goddess of the day ~

Goddess Tara vows :

"There are many who wish to gain enlightenment in a man's form and there are few who wish to work for the welfare of living beings in a female form. Therefore may I in a female body work for the welfare of all beings until such time as all humanity has found it's fullness"
