Thanks Pepper ~ it's been so busy this week , and aside from the work I have been really uncovering some very, very interesting items in my research which are providing me with so many inspirational thoughts it's hard to get them all down on "pap[er".

That's surely the biggest advantage of technology` just how many trees are saved by using a keyboard and flash disc instead?

Blessings to you, too~ and have a gorgeous weekend :) Its so hot over here I was going to fry some sliced bananas on the bonnet of my car for lunch :)). Then I went for a swim in the lagoon instead

Some remains of the Temple of Goddess Al'Uzza in Petra.

Before the evidence of ancient Goddess worship amongst the inhabitants of Arabia had been almost entirely obliterated, there were many sacred places of worship dedicated to the Triple Goddess under the velvet night skies of ancient Arabia.

Al'Uzza is the Virgin Maiden warrior Goddess; and Her symbol is the Morning Star, Venus.

Venus is joined always by the Moon and the Sun ~ and so my Goddess Al'Uzza blends effortlessly withthe Mother, Al'Lat , whose Name means simply "God" in the feminine or the female God of the Universe;

and Ma'nat, the Crone Mother Goddess of the Abyss of deep and infinite Wisdom.

 Al'Uzza transforms effortlessly into Aphrodite!

What a beautiful Goddess ~ Her sacred white dove flittering through the dreamworlds of Her devotees, 

Her symbols include the desert lynx, the acacia thorn tree and the swords of Truth and Justice.

The most common temples to the Goddess were sacred groves of Acacia thorn trees. 

A characteristic of Acacias is their flowers, which attract literally millions of bees to them ~ sounding like a spinning-wheel spinning life into existence...

This is a Mimosa naranaja or Acacia Karroo tree.
