The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realizes that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

Isis and Osiris

"The legend of the dismemberment of the Egyptian God Osiris by his brother Set is the story of a ritual battle between opposing forces that has it's roots in early agricultural myth.

After the god's dismemberment, Isis , his wife and twin (with whom he was destined to fall in love and mate while still in the womb), recovers from the water all the pieces of Osiris' shattered body except his phallus, which has been swallowed by a fish."

~ Buffie Johnson

It's pretty clear to  Initiates of the Mysteries that all of the "evil  and good" tags given to the Egyptian Divinities in later years by the patriarchy are simply the superimposing of their theories of dualism over the Spirituality of the Ancients.

In Wallace-Budge's transliteration of the Book of the Dead, it is seen clearly that in the beginning times, Set was the masculine Yin together with Nephthys , the Revealer; as opposed to his sister and nephew of Light, Isis and Horus, our Divine Child. Actually before all of mankinds interferences, Horus and Set are One God, embodying the powers of Osiris and Ra.

However Light and Darkness as exemplified in my two Goddesses, Nephthys and Isis the Twin Flames, is of the Yin and Yang, of Night and Day, and not of any pre-conceived notions of "good and evil".

Historical records show that it was only later on in dynastic times from  the fifth dynasty onwards, the the original tales were given the classic patriarchal twist. It is characteristic of each new successive civilization, ruler or dynasty to completely obscure that which could not be obliterated which did not fit in with that particular ruler's personal form of spirituality. The original myths were often tampered with and it was particularly the Copts or early Egyptian Christians who were responsible for putting the Christian interpretations on top of the true meanings of our ancestor's tales.

Naturally, all myth should first be analysed taking all opposing opinions into account before making up one's own mind about anything, in my humble opinion. There are always several layers of meaning within the Ancient tales, which have far more than a superficial , patriarchal interpretation  to them.

Anyhow, the symbolism of the fish is where I began my afternoon spiritual studies class. According to highly acclaimed Goddess author and artist, Buffie Johnson, The fish is both the symbol of many Goddesses and of Set. Set has watery associations and is linked with many water and river divinities. All original evidence shows that Set was also associated with the Cosmic Serpent; and his daughter is none other than the Goddess Taweret, a Goddess of protection, especially over infants and expectant mothers.

Once again it seems as if  yet another Pagan God, wed to the inseparable twin sister Nephthys, the sweet dark and beautiful Goddess who always worked with Isis and one of the Nine ; has become a version of the Christian Satan that everyone is talking about lately.

Always seek your own Truth and Be Triply Blessed..

Every thing proceeds from the Goddess; and unto Her shall all things return again, in an infinite cycle of existence.
