The Dark of the waning Moon is traditionally used as a valuable time in which to dispel any fears or other potentially harmful influences on one's spirituality. One could invoke any of the Dark Goddesses such as Kali , Lilith or Persephone, Hekate or Nephthys to assist one towards these productive goals with the clarifying of any issues and helping one out on practical solutions to any perceived problems..

When discussing the Dark Goddess, this quote by Lao Tzu always comes to mind somehow ~

Durga invokes Goddess Kali in this Indian drama around the story of the Triple Goddess, Durga- Ma; Kali and Parvati  and their interactions with Lord Shiva during a battle fought between the Gods and a host of demons who multiplied with every drop of blood shed. Only the power inherent in the Great Goddess could halt the demonic invasion; and all ends well in the end, achieved through the balance of complementary polar energies ~ Venus and Mars ~ completely independent of gender stereotypes, naturally

Every day is Women's Day ~ and things are looking better and better . I was so proud of the South African minister who said in the UN that the main mission of women is to dismantle Patriarchy.
