The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realizes that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

Hmm....thats interesting dear friends....thank you for sharing the info about the Muses there :) For me I often find the Moon herself is a muse.....I tend to go a little dreamy.....and Nature of course.

Love and blessings to all :)

Wasn't that Crescent Moon last night amazing? Hello, All

Hi, Linda :) Mine is Clio (love)) although all of the Muses have so much to teach and being a dancer myself, we are on the same page it seems lol! There's so much to be grateful for :

There are nine Muses, which in itself is significant as the number nine is a number of the Crone Goddess and the Moon. The nine Muses were born of Zeus and the Titaness, Mnemosyne ~ Her Name means, memory ~ and Her Daughters all bestow specuial gifts on those who are sincere in their efforts to advance through their own abilities!

The Muses are Goddesses of the Arts and are, in no particular order of preference;) Clio, the trumpet player, the patron of historians; Calliope, the leader, assists with literary persuits; Erato provides inspiration to poets of romance; Thalia looks after comedians; Polyhymnia assists actors and songwriters; Terpsichore aids guitar players, players of string instruments and dancers; Euterpe, the flute player, helps composers and players of wind instruments; Urania deals with the homogenous ancient discipline of Astrology and Astrology; Melpomone is the Muse of tragic drama.

The muses originated the musical scale of seven tones, which are based on the music of the seven planetary spheres. Their sacred tree is the Willow, and in the ancient city of Alexandria, which once was host to the enormous Library of Byblos; the words Museum, and Music, found expression :)

Naturally, the best teachers are always found within!

Good afternoon, Linda :) I'm glad that you enjoy Egyptian Goddess Art as well. I find some of it entrancing and hypnotic ~ these pictures really do speak more than a thousand words

Hello , All ` wishing everyone a lovely middle-of the week Woden's-day!

One of the really nice things about Goddess is that we always have free choices, and whereas some may be happy with one Patron Divinity this entire lifetime, others may get in touch with many along the way. Some have relations with all Goddesses, and specially revere one or a couple of Goddesses. It really doesn't matter , so long as one is happy and has polarities and elements in balance.

By exalting a Goddess and directing our consciousness, we get in touch with the chosen spiritual influence .Often, it may happen that several Goddesses are present during a difficult challenge.

Personally I do find that the Muses often do not receive enough credit and gratitude for inspiring us in our creative endeavours ! The Muse is of course, the Goddess

~ Before and after ~

The Goddess represents the naturalising of spiritual processes. No elaborate ritual is necessary, nor are any extraordinary austerities such as excessive fasting or sacrifice (in the conventional sense of the word as interpreted by certain religions), to be as One with Goddess.

The meaning of the word sacrifice has been misunderstood by many who associate it with pain, or the giving up of treasured possessions.

"Sacrifice" acceptable to Goddess is, correctly, the transmutation of energies; or simply the process, metaphorically speaking, of shedding some unnecessary and stagnant skin ~ leaving what seemed so valuable at first, behind. This necessary sacrifice of the old to make way for the new is not as it is interpreted by some Religions , as a giving up of wealth or possessions to an establishment. It is about giving to to the Divine directly - by working for Goddess within and without!. An acceptable 'sacrifice', of leaving behind the old outer Ego aspects of oneself and transmuting these through a process of purification into the Higher Self, or radiant Inner Ego, requires some work. The way can be shown by helpful spirits, but it is always up to the seeker themselves to do something to make things happen meaningfully.

This radiant inner energy is sorely neglected in most people in favour of all of the outer, low Ego's needs.

Sacrifice, if understood correctly, can be, for example, taking regular time out to prepare a summer garden, learning about the plants which will go best and are the ones you may wish to have around for special purposes, taking time to plan it all out and to prepare the soil properly, and finally, transferring this potential into action and finishing it all off and enjoying the long-term rewards of such a project. A healing herb garden can go a long way in physical and metaphysical healing.

Thus, real sacrifices as understood correctly ~ investing energy to beget energy , giving and receiving ~ can only be beneficial, as what is in potential becomes action; and the finished garden ~ the physical ~ becomes beautiful free-flowing energy which when channelled correctly perform miracles of healing and other progressive magick.( and after a couple of years, you will have to take out all of the old and dying herbs, and consider starting it all over again...:)

Have a gorgeous evening xxx
