The Triple Goddess

This is a group to honour the Great Goddess in all of Her many aspects, and by myriad Names, as Maiden, Mother and Crone.

To reconnect with the Divine Feminine - the Goddess archetype and Her three faces, is vitally important in order to restore the essential Balance that humankind has been struggling without for the last couple of thousand years.

Goddess Chant - Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hekate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna... The Triple Goddess welcomes you!

"Trying to understand the archetypal image of the Goddess can be the work of a lifetime. When one realizes that She is both a single archetypal Entity and also a trinity of aspects, the understanding becomes more complex. Complex, but clearer in many ways and more comprehensive. For the Goddess is everything to all of Her creations, and especially to both women and men.

She is the beginning and the ending and everything in between"

Times change, times change, and love stays the same, always :)

Mother Earth and her daughters----
Lyrics (13th century English)
Translation

When the nightegale singes,
When the nightingale sings,

The wodes waxen grene:
And the woods wax green:

Lef and grass and blosme springes
I expect, the leaves and the blades of grass,

In Averil, I wene;
And blossoms to spring up, in April;

(And) love is to min herte gon
And so love has shot through my heart

With one spere so kene:
With a spear so honed

Night and day my blod it drinkes;
That night and day it drinks my blood

Min herte deth me tene.
And my heart grieves.

Ich have loved all this year
All this year I have loved

That I may love namore;
The one I can love no more;

Ich have siked mony sik,
I have sighed so many sighs,

Lemmon, for thin ore.
Sweetheart, for your favour.

Me nis love never the ner,
Love will never be any closer to me,

And that me reweth sore.
And I rue that intensely.

Swete lemmon, thench on me:
Sweetheart, think about me:

Ich have loved thee yore.
I have loved you such a long time.

Swete lemmon, I preye thee
Dear sweetheart, I beg you,

Of love one speche.
For one word of love.

Whil I live in world so wide
As long as I live I will not seek

Other nulle I seche.
Another throughout the entire world.

With thy love, my swete leof,
With your affection, my sweet love,

My bliss thou mightest eche:
You could bring me joy:

A swete cos of thy mouth
A sweet kiss from you lips

Mighte be my leche.
Could cure me completely

Swete lemmon, I preye thee
Sweetheart, I beg you,

 GOD AND THE SPIRITS OF THE UNBORN

"God sits in a circle with many baby spirits that are about to be born. God knows that the babies won’t experience the same joy on earth that they experienced in heaven, and He doesn’t want them to be dissatisfied. So God touches His finger just below their noses,leaving an indentation on their upper lips. This makes them forget the joys of heaven, so that they can adapt to the world into which they are born.

This is an interesting variation of the myth about the origin of the indentation on the upper lip. The best known version describes an angel, Lailah, who accompanies the child during pregnancy, teaching it all the secrets of heaven. Then the angel touches the child on the upper lip just as it is born. In this oral variant, recounted by Maury Schwartz of Chicago, it is God who touches the child’s upper lip and leaves the indentation. This is to make the babies forget all the joy they experienced with God in heaven, for life on earth will be much more difficult. Indeed, this is a somewhat bitter myth, distinctly implying that life on earth is one of struggle."

When Lailah touches, , Above is Below so Below is Above.

Good night, joyous Goddess people, and sweet dreams xxx

"Briefly, Prana has two aspects. The first is that of a substance which, without being matter, is it's equivalent. The second aspect is that of an energy or vital force. It is in this narrower sense that the expression, Prana, is generally understood.

Since Yoga considers the universe as being alive in it's totality as well as in all it's parts, Prana is the cosmic, vital force which animates all living beings.Our individual life is only a particularized case of universal life.

The pranic force is present in two forms, one positive, the other negative, a distinction which electricity has made familiar, but was known to Asiatic civilization from time immemorial.

Living beings obtain their pranic force through the organs of their pranic or ethereal body,which, like the physical body, assimilates and dissimilates.

The pranic organs which enable us to assimilate prana are called Nadis, or conductors, of which , one, Pingala, is the positive conductor and Ida, the negative one.

Pingala communicates with the positive exterior pranic mileu at a point of the ethereal body corresponding to the right nostril; Ida, to the left nostril."

How wonderful it is to be able to breathe deeply in the breezes of a Moonday today and only goddess tomorrows...

Love to all,

and Blessed Be )O(

Scientists estimate that the universe is made up of around 80% of what they term, Dark Fluid, which is a euphemism for what we call the infinite potential of darkness, the space-in-between and the infinite energy Source which originates all things;; another 15% or so is said to comprise of Dark Matter, which is matter unseen but yet in the process of forming into visible matter; and the 5% which remains, is all that we can see or detect with conventional human senses and which forms the basis for ..conventional "acceptable?" reality.

Thus the third aspect of Prana according to my esteemed teacher Alain, must be that which is the Light of living matter, of flesh and blood and skin-deep beauty ~ within and through which, the Prana, Dragon's breath, or in other words, the divine essence of the Great Cosmic Mother, flows?

A blessed day to all ~ may your river run smooth , clear , sweet and true.

Hello, Maighread :) Yes indeed, the time has got to arrive when all who love Mother Nature must pull together. Let's just open up and let it be, in unity!

Well said, sister!

We all have the same Mama

It always saddens me whenever other Pagans berate one another. We need to pull together and show love to all! ;) ~M~
