When we touch the thumb with the pointer finger or index finger, we engage the mind and open the doorway to cosmic consciousness, as the thumb is symbolic of the Divine and the index finger, of individual consciousness.

In Yogic terms, mudras are specific ways of touching the various points in the palm of the hand and the fingers to literally send messages about the corresponding areas of the body, to the brain.

The whole body is an unbelievably complex network of energies, which can be stimulated and wakened to their full potential, if we choose. 

As Above, So Below ~ we are living universes in ourselves, and so the Goddess teaches that mistreating our bodies and minds through excesses leads to further imbalances and these in turn lead to a state of dis-ease.

It won't help much if one becomes expert in the secrets of the palm, and eats garbage, smokes like a chimney and never goes walking about or practices daily meditations and one's exercise routines are non- existent. It won't help if one would rather sit and absorb all the rubbish on TV, which is by and large all about glorifying violence, male supremacy and how dangerous, monstrous, savage and cruel the sacred wild animals of the world supposedly are, while all the time demonizing witches and anything else related to Goddess and Nature spirituality. Just saying...

Choose Life, Love and Goddess for everlasting joy and ease, happiness and pleasure.)O(
