Welcome to the group!
The worship of the Goddess and God of Nature is incomplete without the embracing of both Yin and Yang; female and male; Night and Day, Water and Fire. A balanced spiritual seeker will know that it is within that balance that eternal happiness, contentment and prosperity on all levels manifests.
Most Gods were actually Goddesses originally ~ and as the God comes from within the Goddess; Light from Darkness; this group is here for those who understand the working of Nature, where all is equal and nothing is above any other.
The God is the consort, brother, child, husband and other half of the Great Goddess, who was First; and we are here to honour this Perfect Androgyny in male form.
Our God of Many Names is not the authoritative, stern male god of the patriarchy; rather , we venerate the Divine Masculine Principle of the Universe as the complementary Light side of the infinite Darkness in masculine form.
Blessed Be X

The name Mordred means, Water Dragon, whilst Pendragon, the name of the Royal house of King Arthur, means, Fire Dragon.
In the olden days, the struggle between the two dragons representing the Yin and Yang, and the succession of the seasons, were celebrated as naturally opposite energies and never as mortal enemies.
They are very entertaining though :)
hehe...
After I had gone off on a tangent I did kind of realise that you were actually referring to a Moth, Phenomenon. The name sounded familiar and well, the closest I come is of course Mot, the God of Death, who cleaved Baal, the God of Fertility in half in a tale paralelled by that of Set and Azar.
Things do have a way of repeating themselves, don't they just?
Oh yeah...we were talking about the phallus and it's true symbolism the other week; and I found something which really puts it all in the right perspective.
""Persephone, Diana, Aphrodite, Hera, all exchange their symbols, functions, characteristics, and even subordinate titles in a bewildering manner in Greek myths and art.Likewise do Priapus, Pan, Apollo, and Zeus.
The best we can say of them is that all the goddesses are Great Mothers and all the gods are Givers of Life; the difference between them lying not in function, but in the level upon which they function.
A distinction is drawn between the celestial Venus and the goddess of earthly love of the same name; the discerning can see in equal distinction, and an equal underlying identity, between Zeus the All-Father and Priapus, both equally addicted to fatherhood, but after another manner, the one being earthly where the other is celestial.
Nevertheless, they are not two gods, but one god: just as Binah and Malkuth are not two distinct types of force, but the same force functioning on different levels.
This is the key to the understanding of the significance of phallic worship, which plays such an important part in all ancient and primitive faiths, a part so little understood by their scholastic interpreters.
It's real meaning is the bringing down of the godhead into manhood in the hope of taking manhood up into godhead. A process which is also part of the Freudian philosophy."

Hi!
If it's the symbol of the group , it is the sacred beetle, which naturally is horned. The Egyptians held the beetle as one of the most sacred creatures at one time, as representing the generative energies of the Cosmos.
As Kheperu was a horned God, practically all of his images were effectively destroyed, though in his most common manifestation as the Scarab Beetle many representations have survived. Here are some of my favourites :
