They came from the east,from the mountains of crystal sheen,

the Tuatha de Danaan.They werent gods but offspring of angels,

Led by one named Lugh who carried a spear of silver light,

along with Danu queen, who shone and illumined the night.

they were her family or tuath or Clann, with gifts so special,

Dagda ,large ,strong and firce carrying a cauldron on his shoulders,

Abelio,Aine and Airmid followed beauteous and powerful ladies,

Ameathon master of fields and growing food,Andraste who shone as clear as the moon,

Angus Og with his magic harp ,young,handsome with knowledge of love.

Anu the wealthy,protector of earth and related to Morrigan of the crows.

Then came dark Arawn master of death and deep places,

Arionrhod with wheels of silver on her wagon,Artio who cared for wildlife ,

at her hands animals and creatures were healed back to health.

Baod Catha mighty woman of war sister of Mor Rhigainn and Anu,

travelling alone shunned by most came Balor the one eyed,

Boann travelled beside her man the Dagda father of the Tuatha.

many more there came spreading across the known world.People of magic and heroes of reknown.

Heading to Georgia for the weekend...my son becomes an Army Ranger tomorrow, and my grandson's birthday party is Saturday. Hoping I don't get too worn out from it all, physically and emotionally, lol.

That's awesome, Lowe, that you used to live here. There are still several trailer parks throughout the area, but I can't think of one directly on Racetrack, so it probably is apartments now. I need to get out and meet more people around here, I have been too much of a recluse!

Lightning fizzed and crackled the heavy air.Clouds roiled and boiled ,forming banks of rain heavy fuzz.She stood high on a rocky parapet arms stretched out on either side,head back her long black hair hanging down. Her lips moved saying the ancient words of incantation known only to one.Her cloak fluttered like huge black wings as she folded them round herself .Slowly she unfolded her arms and opening the cloak releasing new life into the stormy night. Birthing her children to cover the land, the Birth of the Morrigan crows.

LOL I like the idea of the children's book on the adventures of our characters!

I had blood drawn this morning to check my basics, then went to my husband's office and had coffee with him. Home now, got a few chores done and resting now. I can't do too much since surgery without feeling pain and exhaustion, but I'm getting there. It was raining a while ago, now the sun is peeking out. The rain has made it cooler today, only upper 70s. I bet the guys building the house in the lot next to us appreciate the cooler temps. I haven't heard their Mexican music today, but I hear them hammering away.

I Ghillie Dhu have a little tale for you.

Soon after my meet with Cern the white stag ,I wandered through celi don.No path did i follow just went where the notion and vibrations took me.Suddenly i came across a clearing. Within this clearing lay a cool clear pool ,surface smooth no ripples disturbed the surface.Beside this pool stood a woman , she was tall and graceful, long black hair cascaded down her back and she wore a red dress so tight that it accentuated her voluptous figure.Her skin was as pale as a sea shells and her eyes shone brightly.A cloak hun g on a tree branch  which looked as if made from black glossy feathers.

She smiled at me and spoke softly,"At last " she purred,"You have come to me." At that moment I remembered her from many years ago at the Dun of the Boar as she hid in the shadows..

"My name", she continued ,"is Mor-Rhigainn ". And a that a huge Raven alighted on the tree and rasped a deep croaky call.

Yes Lowe Ive met her and her feathery companions even been in my garden.Her presence has grown within me me so much I want to be with her but i know that is impossible but who knows maybe not.I agree with you over officials who pocket money from the corporations.Ive watched the struggle over the sacred grounds of the first people aand it breaks me up.one wonders what will be left in future .Maybe one day more and more will awaken and see sense.By the way  ntmu.
