Hi, and apologies if i came across a little emotionally disturbed this morning. It is actually at the point where permanent armed guards are being deployed in the bush to look after the rhinos which are left. It's not only in the Kruger Park but in a lot of smaller private game reserves and lodges that the poaching takes place 

Often because of the money factor, the poachings are organised by the criminal syndicates and sometimes, with the assistance of some corrupt officials themselves.It is definitely Oriental crime syndicates who are involved, as the poachers themselves are heavily armed and well-equipped. It is usually done from a helicopter, and the horns are then shipped out to China, Vietnam and Thailand among other countries. To me, it's like killing the Last of the Rhinocorns, for profit and basically to serve the selfish needs of a few who believe in using something really priceless, for their own ego gratification, for manly virility's sake?

It surprises me, as I always considered ancient Oriental Arts such as Tai Chi to provide way more than enough virility. Why go to all the trouble to use something that does not actually work in the first place? Do some people want to kill every last wild animal on the planet just to make their evil point? 

Well, thank you One Crow; and yes , what is sent out will return, that is the way the universe works in terms of Karma accumulation, and taking full responsibility for one's actions.

Although there's no hell-fire or eternal punishment in our system of beliefs, it would be interesting to see how Anubis and Maat would receive such in the Hall of Double Truth and Right...wouldn't it?

Rhinos are still, believe it or not, being killed for their horns,which are used in traditional Chinese medicine to "increase vigour" and increase the size of a man's most valued possession- his penis.

Having practically exterminated the Sumatran and Javan rhinoceros, the focus is now on Africa to supply the ever-increasing demand for the powdered horn, which is really ineffectual as a "cure" for impotency but is believed to have magical qualities by millions of deluded men who do not yet know about viagra , or getting a life, as yet.

As the total number of surviving rhinoceros in the wild decreases at an alarming rate, paradoxically enough, the demand and price per gram increases.

With international attention being focused on the plight of the rhino, the transparent foolishness and greed-and lust-laden stupidity of man is revealed, as he would rather kill every last rhino to (supposedly) get a hard on if necessary than ever listen to reason and when they are all gone, he will invent some other excuse to slaughter the other horned animals, as well, for profit, and because it's "fun". 

So the slaughter continues, despite increased security measures.
