When I was for five days, once, in Paris, France, I spent three of my evenings, going to chamber concerts at this Church.
The impression it made on me was an everlasting one.
The acoustics of the place are unbelievable, and the beauty unsurpassed, plus the music and the virtuosos were also out of this World.
Therefore imagine all this beauty added to the sound that it can be produced inside of it!
I had to share this with all of you, thus:

When we hear the term "church in France," the first place we will think of is probably Notre Dame Cathedral, even if we’ve never visited this famous site. However, in Paris’ River Seine, on the island of Île de la Cité, there is a church that can certainly compete with the famous Notre Dame. With intricately crocketed gables and colorful windows, and the precise design of every detail, the Sainte - Chapelle Church can certainly be named "the most beautiful church in France". Don’t believe me? Take a look at the following pictures and discover the beauty of this impressive building for yourself…
When standing outside the Church of Sainte-Chapelle, it seems quite ordinary, and many may overlook it as they walk alongside it.
But as you get closer to the
church, you begin to see the intricate details that characterize it, like the wall carvings that greet guests
entering.
When you enter the building itself, a whole world of colorful splendor is revealed that is definitely worth seeing.
The church, whose construction was completed in 1248 AD, was built during the reign of French king Louis IX in the Gothic style that was very popular during that time.
Throughout its existence, certain items in the church, like wooden seats, were ruined and other parts were
completely destroyed.
In the 19th century, the
architect and French theorist Eugène Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc planned the church's turret that stands to this day, and from 1862, after the construction and renovations, Sainte-Chapelle was considered a national symbol and site.
The Church of Sainte-Chapelle is a magnet for many tourists today who come to admire the beautiful stained-glass windows, which were delicately assembled into stone frames.
The church is adorned with stained glass windows depicting scenes from the New and Old Testament, as well as the narrative of sacral kingship.
