Hathor is the Queen of the Fay in Aethiopia,

and so the priestesses and priests and devotees of Hathor have always been known as,

"Hathors".

Not surprisingly , Hathor is closely associated with trees, and all of the magickal beings who frequent the trees, such as the Dru or Dryads after whom the Druids are called their name..

Hathor later on assimilated all of the Goddesses and Gods of Aethiopia and, like Isis, was known as the Mother of the Gods.

The sacred groves of Asherah and Allat are later examples of the close connection and bond we have with Nature and the Ancestors, as we are extensions of Nature, our ever-living Temple.
