When Au-set shed a single tear, one evening whilst surveying Her domain from the vantage point of a very high mountain in the Aethiopian highlands;
The Goddess Sati managed to catch the tear as it fell into her round clay vessel, the one made of red clay and spittle encircled about with the ribbon-like form of a great Serpent the Dragon, which the Goddess of Ten Thousand Names rides high and low.
Sati watched in amazement as the single teardrop swelled up within the vessel, and the pregnant purple-grey storm clouds gathered on the distant steel-blue horizon, flashing with shuddering lightning. The tear was of the very essence of the beautiful Goddess, and Sati knew what she must do. For though the clouds had gathered and the low rumbling and flash of lightning could be clearly seen; there was no rain, or stream of water to satisfy the burning thirst of the parched earth, or lake to flow through.
Kneeling down gracefully, Sati placed the ever-filling magickal clay pot onto a bed of crystalline quartz and watched as the tear began to well up and spill over onto the dry surface of the ground. The water spilled over the edges of the pot and in no time at all, eroded a deep chasm within the granite and dolomite rock of the mountain-top
The clouds burst wide open simultaneously and the life-giving rain; without which there could be no living, showered down onto the peaks of the high cloud~wreathed mountains, feeding the ever-flowing vessel to ensure it never ran dry again.
Au-set cried not one single tear more, as none were necessary.
The waters below became the waters high above the firmament, returning again continually in cycles so that the lush green plants of nutrition and healing and all of the sacred beasts could be happy always and forevermore, with the Goddess' Love poured out upon the Earth to always satisfy their thirst and make all living possible;
While the Great Serpents both white and blue spiralled evermore out from the pot and, twins become one, became known as the Celestial Nile River flowing forevermore into Tiamat!

One gives birth to two.
Two gives birth to three
Three gives birth to all things"
