A vision of something that I may not be aware of

The past couple of days have been a little weird for me.  Not weird in a normal way, but weird in a way that I am still trying to understand.  Allow me to explain.

The other day, I was in a heated debate with a friend about the way our lives have gone.  He has chosen to conform to what society wants him to  be, while I still follow my passions and joys, while maintaining my duties to my family.  While the argument ended a friendship, I did not loose any sleep over the matter, know that this was bound to happen.  When I was alone, and driving home from work, I heard this voice speak to me.  This is what I heard:

"I have watched many decide to change their paths, to accept what was before them as a way of peace. I do not follow them, for it brings nothing but pain.  I continue to follow my path and my ways.  This brings me joy and knowing that I am free in a way others do not understand.  Those that still walk with you, are your friends."

This somehow brought me some small amount of peace.  I spent the next day visiting those I knew were still close to me and there was peace to my soul.  Then while I was sitting down watching tv the other night, I saw the image of a lion get up from infront of me and walk away.  This image was the same style as I see my totem spirtis, the Buffalo, the Hawk, and the Wolf, and outline, but the features were unmistakable.  I wonder if I have acquired a new Totem animal because of this sighting.

Then today, I don't quite know what to make of what I saw.  I was mowing my yard listening to some music when before my eyes, my vision shifted.  I saw a mountain plateau and sitting next to me was Crazy Horse.  He turned to me and smiled and the vision passed.  I tried to explain this as reading about Crazy Horse and my mind created a vision for me while I was working.  But something about this does not seem right.  I have never questioned a vision, but this one makes me wonder what is going on.

Blessings Dear Scott- what wondrous visions you have been given.   You can never have too many totems, so give thanks for the strength and courage that the Lion brings into your path.

The message you received is so very clear, uplifting and affirming.  Give thanks for all that is flowing to you.   And I love Crazy Horse.  What a beautiful energy you are in right now.   

Walk your Journey fearlessly, for as you have been told, those who will walk with you will be there.  It is always important for us to release that which no longer serves us, and sometimes that includes people.   It is not that you should be angry with anyone or hold grudges, but that you know your energies no longer work together.  Bless them and release them to their journey.   We cannot judge why someone will do what they do, we can only walk the path we feel is right for our highest and best good.

Thanks for the kind words.  I know it's hard when your path splits from someone, but at times it is necessary.  Some people want to conform to what they perceive as being the "right thing to do".  It feels like you give up on what you want to do to become what your parents or society wants you to be.

I never knew what the lion brought to people, but now I know, I can see where those attributes fit into my life.  I welcome and accept the lion into my life.

I am still trying to figure out what Crazy Horse's visit was to me.  I am not quite sure, but that is something to figure out for another day.
