Meditation Mob Movement... let's get the world meditating!

There is a new organization that calls themselves MedMob that is helping to organize world wide flash meditation mobs!  In their Mission Statement they say....

Our intention is to create an environment for people from all religions, all world views, and all experience levels to join together in meditation. Our vision is to continue inspiring world-wide meditations until the entire world is invited to join - literally!

Flash Mobbing is a new trend that you may have heard of or participated in.

It's a form of expression and/or activism where people arrange to get together in public at a pre-determined time and place and engage in a particular activity.

In this case it is being done in order to raise awareness of the benefits of meditation and to encourage and invite people to explore meditation practice.

So anyone and everyone is invited and encouraged to participate!

This is an invitation for YOU to get involved in being a MedMob organizer and/or participant!

MedMob is looking to find local organizers in all over the world to help organize local Meditation Mobs, and wherever you are in the world, they want YOUR help!

In terms of current organizers they are looking for people living in Capital cities of their Countries/States/Provinces/Territories who would be willing to organize their local chapter of MedMob.

The following is a list of the cities that are already covered and do not need organizers:

We cannot have too many people and too many places to engage in mindfulness and meditation toward a more peaceful happy planet. We're all in this together!

Toronto now needs an organizer, as do many cities all over the world.  See map on website.

 

If you are considering the possibility of being an organizer, definitely inquire, because it's always good to have several per city to help spread the word, etc. :)
