Hmm, on the "dependency" question, it's quite possible. No, in the dream I wasn't violent about it, just insistent on not taking "No" for an answer. Ah, now I understand. Sometimes I wish my subconscious mind would stop this unneeded "translator" service between the conscious and unconscious minds, it only confuses things. The dream referred to an instance which occurred in Greenland between me and a native woman there, when my world-view was profoundly disturbed.

By the way, don't ever let anyone tell you that Greenland is not a magickal place, because it very much IS. Photographs of people having spirit-form message overlays and the like... but that could have been my doing. That's a long story and it might take me years to understand.

I haven't ever had a dream of being a vampire...

If you were the vampire, were you violent and aggressive, or was it more of an attraction or romantic type of dream? Is it possibly a sign of some form of dependency, the way a vampire depends on humans for blood?

Anybody ever dream of being a vampire? I find it a rather disturbing notion, and recently had a dream to that effect. What would that usually mean?

One is curious as to whether any others have dreams in which it's as though one is viewing the point of view of others in past or present situations. I wonder whether the "subconscious/unconscious" self, or the "higher self" is checking for absence of malice, since I no longer have anything to do with a great many with whom I'd interacted previously. Considering what I've termed the "Babyl effect", I suppose I'm not that surprised of late - but that's a different discussion...

Curious, in all the dreams I've had, last night's was the first, I think, from which I awoke with the sense of having lost a major burden. It had to do with my one surviving brother whom I never wish to see again unless he straightens up.
