Florida Water Formula

Florida Water Formula (1)

• 3 fluid ounces oil of bergamot
• 1 fluid ounce oil of lavender
• 1 fluid ounce oil of lemon
• 1 1/4 fluid drachms oil of cloves
• 2 1/2 fluid drachms oil of cinnamon
• 1/2 fluid drachm oil of neroli
• 6 fluid ounces essence of jasmine
• 2 fluid ounces essence of musk
• 8 pints alcohol
• 1 pint rose water

Mix and if cloudy, filter through magnesium carbonate.

Note: If you do not have the instruments to measure out a drachm, it is 1/8th of a fluid ounce, or approximately 60 drops.

Florida Water Formula (2)

• 3 ounces oil of bergamot
• 1 ounce oil of lemon
• 1 ounce oil of English lavender
• 12 drops oil of clove
• 20 drops oil of cinnamon
• tincture of benzoin
• 1 gallon alcohol
• 1 pint rose water

Florida Water Formula (3)

• 2 cups vodka or other alcohol
• 2 tablespoons rose hydrosol
• 16 drops essential oil of bergamot
• 12 drops essential oil of lavender
• 6 drops essential oil of may chang
• 3 drops essential oil of rosemary
• 2 drops essential oil of jasmine
• 2 drops rose attar (rose oil)

Florida Water Formula (4)

• 2 cups vodka or other alcohol
• 2 tablespoons orange flower water or hydrosol
• 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
• 1/4 teaspoon finely ground orrisroot
• 12 drops essential oil of bergamot
• 12 drops essential oil of lavender
• 6 drops essential oil of may chang
• 3 drops essential oil of rosemary
• 2 drops rose attar (rose oil)
• 2 drops neroli
