Wind Dancer

 

Born to the East wind of the Medicine Wheel

Where the great Eagle Spirit flies

The place of the rising sun,

and the warmth of a new day beginning.

 

Born to the Butterfly clan (ani kamama)

and the wind element

wind Dancer she is... and free

Sometimes she seems invisible,

you will find her in the forest, or beside the river

listening to it's traveling song

but, no where long does she stay.

 

She loves to ride the air currents,

offering her heartsong to those who would hear it,

but, always, does she carry in her heart

the love of her dear ones, wherever she goes

She is never alone
