I KNEW I wouldn;t be able to stop posting this stuff once I started.

Putting this together was a labor of love. Tom is the REAL DEAL all the way, poet, musician, storyteller and human. I could go on and on. Thanks riggwelter.

No one paints our humanity in such true colors as Mr. Waits. I'm eighteen and cruising Main Street in Festus Missouri whenever I hear this.

those r wonderful things in r life that can take us 2 another place & time that we lived in...wonderful marK

Good art SHOULD take us to a better place or at least a place where we get a better look at something. And if it's not a labor of love then it's just a job and I've had all of them I can stand.LOL  So glad you're digging this M.  marK

why do i have the feeling that everything that u put 2gether is truly "a labor of love." *smiles*

Tom and Iggy at the same table, how cool is THAT ?  Tom is one of my all time favorite humans. "Nirvana", the Bukowski piece, reminds me of all the bus trips I've taken in my life and is an achingly beautiful piece of art. So glad you enjoyed this M, I so loved sharing it with folks who can appreciate it. Later my friend.  marK

wow this was fun!!!
Nighthawks At The Diner has some great stories in it as well if you're not familiar with all of Tom's stuff. I feel more human (in a good way) when I hear this stuff.  marK

" What's that sound behind the door, He's pounding nails into a hardwood floor..." There is no end to this man's genius. The supermarket story still cracks me up. He is a national treasure. Thanks for these wonderful pieces.  marK
