The fabled Akashic Records have existed throughout all time. Descriptions of these records vary with cultural contexts, but most people familiar with the Akashic Records agree they represent the sum of all knowledge. To read these records requires a master index, a key you build with your mind’s eye.
About Astral Travel, Part 4,
Akashic Records, More than Meets the Mind’s Eye
The Akashic Records may be described as a sort of library containing all of human knowledge and experience, past, present, and future. Details describing the Akashic Records have been presented by many seers and truth-sayers, however, their descriptions vary.
The Akashic Records have been described as collections of scrolls or books, but at their heart they are simply archives of information, the appearance of any sort of physical form may be a matter subject to cultural context and expectations.
The true Akashic Records may really be the very moments in time the records describe.
There are many ways of psychically accessing information within the Akashic Records, by astral travel, or through tarot, palmistry, runes, astrology, numerology, scrying, psychometry, channeling, etc…
The Akashic Records lie at the root of all of these psychic information retrieval systems.
If popular descriptions of these records may be dismissed as anthropocentric, culturally derived concepts, then what really lies at the heart of all of these descriptions?
Each person describes the Akashic Records for themselves, in their own mind’s eye, using whatever images or metaphors work best for themselves. Even those people who attempt to follow traditional descriptions of the Akashic Records rather than give them a personal shape of their own still define the Akashic Record’s though the perceptions of their mind’s eye.
Therefore, each person who learns to work with the Akashic Records may see them differently from other people, for there may be no single description that may be universally agreed upon.
There is only the underlying principle, that the Akashic Records represent all knowledge.
Some people say only human knowledge and experiences are accessible through the Akashic Records, while others believe all knowledge about everything in creation is accessible.
We believe access to the Akashic Records is limited by your beliefs. Whatever is within your ability to believe in is what you will be able to find within the Akashic Records.
While the Akashic Records themselves may stand as the most objective descriptions of creation, they are always subject to our human cognitive perceptual filters, whatever we may perceive within the Akashic Records is always altered to fit our capacity to imagine what we seek and to then model it in our Mind’s Eye.
Whatever flaws exist in the vision of our mind’s eye will always be reproduced in our perceptions of the Akashic Records.
Consequently, several people trying to use the Akashic Records to describe the same event may come up with very different descriptions, based on their personal perceptual biases.
Can anyone become so selfless, so perfectly objective, that they can accurately describe the present moment NOW that we are all living in? If not, then accurately describing the contents of the Akashic Records may be equally impossible for them, because the Akashic Records may really be the entire plenum, the complete realization of all possible quantum potentials as unique now moments with complete, discrete physical properties.
Each moment in time we experience may be considered to define a word, sentence, paragraph, or chapter in the Akashic Records, a record of infinite volumes recording all of time in all of its alternate realities.
Many people have claimed to derive information from the Akashic Records that has later been refuted. We would contend that the fault lies with the reader of the records, rather than the records themselves.
To successfully navigate the Akashic Records requires a master index, a key that guides us reliably to the specific information we seek. If our key is faulty, the records we examine may pertain to a different universe. We may derive information that does not describe our own universe and may therefore seem to be unreliable or worthless.
The flaws in any master index key for the Akashic Records are the flaws of our own egos, personalities, or characters. They are the flaws of our shadows, those invisible parts of ourselves that balance all that we may know or seek to know with all that we may never know.
No key to the Akashic Records can really be shared.
Each key is unique to the mind that produces it.
We may share descriptions of our personal keys that may help others to build their own keys, but all of our descriptions are limited by our linguistic skills; we can never describe our keys clearly enough to provide more than models or guides for others to create their own keys.
It is up to each seeker of truth to learn to navigate the Akashic Records for themselves.
It is pointless to follow the truth of anyone other than yourself. The only value any information in the Akashic Records can have is the personal value you give it, so following another person’s path through the maze of the records will only lead you to their perception of what they believe you seek, at best.
They may wholly miss the mark for you.
Anyone who tells you otherwise may be pulling an elaborate con on you. Anyone who tells you they can teach you a technique to access the Akashic Records that is guaranteed to work may really be taking advantage of your ignorance to make a fast buck.
There may be many good teachers who genuinely help seekers find their way through the Akashic Records, but the path you ultimately find must always be your own path; every good teacher acknowledges this.
Your personal key to the Akashic Records exists within your own heart.
Your key is hidden by your shadow, those parts of yourself of which you are unaware, parts of you that have a deep influence on your ability to manifest anything, regardless of whether what you seek to manifest may be money, health, pleasure, companionship, knowledge, or wisdom.
Your shadow masks your key.
Because your shadow masks your key all occult philosophies point in a single direction to help you unmask your own key, they point to you, to your self-knowledge. The more completely you know yourself, the more veils you strip away form your own personal key to the Akashic Records; your information retrieval techniques will then become more accurate.
Only you yourself may stand in the way of all the information you may explore within the Akashic Records.
Your personal key may look very different from our own. That’s ok; whatever works for you is always best. Our own key looks something like this at the moment:
Imagine the plenum as the realization of all possible alternate realities, all existing side by side. The smallest difference between any reality and its neighbor may be only a single quantum.
Not only are there infinite sets of universes, but infinite sets of infinite sets.
All exist, all are real.
Each infinitely small moment in time discretely defines a single universe.
Our key is a sphere that resonates.
We change the harmonics of our key to resonate with the clearest mental image our mind’s eye can produce to describe what we seek to learn. Our key then attracts those Akashic Records that most strongly resonate in response to the vibrations of our key.
We must then choose the records that most closely resemble the information we seek.
The shape of our key is unimportant; the principle of resonance is all-important.
You will feel the resonance of truth in your heart when you have selected the correct information from the Akashic Records.
Your key always already exists in your heart.
However, you can make talismans, amulets, or other magickal tools that codify this principle for you. These tools may then help you to focus your mind’s eye in order to create the resonance that will most accurately attract the information that you seek to you.
You may be build all manner of tools to assist you in developing your capacity to attract information from the Akashic Records to your mind’s eye.
We particularly like Tarots, but there are many alternatives.
Traditional tools include a wand, an athame or sword, a chalice or cup, and a coin, disk or sphere.
The tools of past seekers have often become so popular that many people will seek out those tools instead of developing their own.
However, each tool is most valid only to that tool’s creator.
Your most accurate tools will always be the tools that you build for yourself.
Enjoy your tool-making, may you build well!
