A Yuletide Blessing...
Fire, fire burning bright,
On this eve of Solstice night.
We bid fare-thee-well to Holly King
Welcome rebirth Oak King brings.
Inviting warmth of hearth and home,
Evokes presence of Goddess womb.
Where life renewed finds first spark,
Yearly wheel turns to light from dark.
Blessed be children of the light
Upon this sacred Solstice night.
Yule log burning down last ember,
Cherish this time and we remember.
United sister/brotherhood are we,
Now to the dawning of eternity.
Rest now ye merry ladies and gentlemen,
For next Yuletide we meet again.
So Mote it be!
