"Live in the NOW"

   Ever balanced on something before? A rope? A narrow piece of wood? The curbs near the street? Or have you ever slipped on some ice on the street or sidewalk? Remember when time just stood still for what felt like forever ? You were so focused on the fall that even the sounds around you seemed to fade off to nothing for a few brief seconds...maybe your heartbeat was nonexistent...and visions of your life seemed to "flash" before your eyes? If so...you were in the moment..the NOW...during that fall. And once you've experienced that moment, you can always recall those emotions and senses if someone asked about it. Why? Because the NOW feeling was so intense...so real...so magical...that if it wasn't for the pain aspect of falling down on our butts, we would always want this intense rush to come forth when called upon.

   The 2 of Pentacles is mainly about balance...juggling two or more issues at once, while maintaining balance and harmony.

   Even when juggling we are very much in the NOW...'cause if we weren't, we would drop the balls if our thoughts wandered to far from the act of "catch and release". 

   The Osho Zen version has a man hopping from one stone to the next, high above a city. He is unaware of anything below him except the stones for he is in the NOW, too. The peace he feels is evident with his calm posture and smiling face. This is how we should be in life...living "moment to moment" !

   As the fairy child balances on the spider web, carefree, available for the experience of NOW, she is free for the moment of time, space, prejudices, governments, religions, and hurtful emotions from others. There is no here or there...only NOW...where her tiny foot is placed becomes the next NOW...followed by another foot...and another NOW. Age has no value in the NOW...race has none either. The only important factor is YOU and the MOMENT. This life can be a grand playground of experience if we approach it in the right perspective. There is so much to feel..so much to hear...so much to taste...and so much to love. All one has to do is just...
