Oxalá Bath -the only bath that can be thrown on the head

One of the most commonly used spiritual baths, ideal for anyone feeling "heavy" or burdened, is the **Oxalá bath**. This bath is traditionally made with **boldo leaves**, which are well known in Brazil and other South American countries for their medicinal and spiritual properties. If boldo is not available in other countries, equivalent herbs with similar purification properties can be used.

Here’s how to prepare the **Oxalá bath** with boldo:

 Ingredients:
- 7 boldo leaves (preferably fresh)
- 1 liter of water

 Instructions:

1. Preparing the leaves:** If possible, collect the boldo leaves with respect and gratitude. As you pick the leaves, focus on positive energies and ask Oxalá for protection and cleansing.

2. Boil the water: In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil.

3. Infuse the leaves: Once the water starts boiling, turn off the heat. Add the 7 boldo leaves to the hot water and cover the pot. Let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes.

4. Strain and let cool: After the infusion, strain the leaves and allow the bath to cool down to a warm, comfortable temperature.

5. How to take the bath: First, take a regular shower to clean your body. Afterward, slowly pour the boldo infusion over your body, starting from the top of your head and letting it flow downwards. As you do this, focus on cleansing and purifying yourself from all negative energies. Visualize the heavy energy leaving your body, leaving you feeling light and peaceful.

6. Gratitude: After the bath, thank Oxalá for the protection and purification. Let your body air-dry naturally (without using a towel, if possible) to fully absorb the energy of the bath.

Notes:
- This bath should be done with faith and respect. It is recommended to do it during moments of introspection and calm.
- Some people prefer to perform this bath on specific days, like Mondays or Fridays, which are considered sacred to Oxalá.

If boldo is not available in your region, you can use herbs like rosemary, basil, or fennel, which also have cleansing and spiritual properties.
