Well, at least now I've put VLC media player on the Linux laptop AND made all my music playlists specific to VLC. I don't know if it would've played Windows Media Player playlists or not and didn't want to find out the hard way that it wouldn't.

I had to use the non-profit counterpart to the BBB to get it done, though. I hate it when I have to do that, but it's either that or continue to "get the shaft", so to speak.

Anyhoo, I've gotten Free Geek to finally cough up the replacement laptop which their warranty promised, complete with Linux Mint (Cinnamon v. 21 [for 2021]). I haven't had time yet to configure it all as of yet - that comes later this afternoon at the earliest. As for Verizon, I posted a bad review on them some time ago and didn't want to invest any more time on it when I don't ever plan to use Verizon for anything again. Quick update.

I know, but I've been trying to catch up on current outstanding business and haven't yet had the time to spare on it. I expect to get to it shortly, hopefully within the next week.
