Starcrossed ...... The Dreamer and the Damsel

Dusk pales the East while the fainting sun is lulled under horizon,

 head syncing with heart while eyes break from rapture, wielding a

rememberance for an unlost love, that's long forlorn'd....... 

A chill climbs while the sun &  sky dissolve like an ember to ashes then soot 
Like a dream before daybreak ... And far above, shines a star named for
the legend of a fallen hero, who stands with a torch burning in vigil of the sacred burial,
of two bewidowed lovers who's spirits had been sown far into the cosmic
meadow, their destinys meant to continue from half
written chapters, and unfinished canvass....they are Night's Firstborn.

Like lost ships they sail deeper into an ocean of shades and cloudcasted
shores which roll, with the stillness of a portrait. Moonlight is their beacon as she
turns and flashes them towards her mortal harbor, yet what fate lies in
this Isle of nature that I've now moored upon ?

Where lords have ruled with fire and steel, And so I've entered my life's forge.... 

The caress of the wind reminds me of freedom,
 unbounded by gravity, it becomes the one bridge to cross over
this chasm between stars and days... It weaves together songs
and dreams .. My noble messengers to your ears and touch. Journeying among 
the billions of other stars, that can ring forth the chorus from shattered crystals

fighting side by side of this one, each a piece of the broken hearts which we,
now as the Earthborn, have carried with us into this crux of
wandering steps that are bound for graves, And so our quests into schools

of ancient mystery tasks us to solve a puzzle about the 12 riddles of heaven...

Could not I escape such a cruel fate ? That the powers of greed
and evil tend of this paradise through the fear and bloodshed of the innocent, and
here do I witness such beauty lain into such pitiful waste, for what will one day stand as ruins !

This, my life force, is also yours, and birth has destined me to pay such passage

that is yearning for you atlast, then even so, I keep dreaming...

May I endure this darkness and coldness, until the stir of daybreak sounds,

bringing back the daylight in subtle glory 
as if yester's flame were lighting each candle to bring for
to-morrow to pass on .... guide me towards the end of my life, in vows of
courage and humility that I will glow  true.. let this starlight be my messenger,
the first to be herald when dusk washes your skies... that there be
winds there too... strong enough to carry the weight of such tears and promises..
to the one who's also dreaming, that we'll be awoken in eternity.
