07 - The Chariot (of Doubt)
Although I would be one of the first to say that on some issues, I do have FAITH.

I have FAITH...that while driving on the road, I trust that everyone else will follow the rules of the road and stop when they are supposed to and not cross the yellow lines into oncoming traffic.

I have FAITH... that the cook at restaurant where I am dining will not intentionally poison me during dinner.

I have FAITH...that my employer will pay me at the end of each week the total amount that I had earned.

In this way...I have FAITH !

Where I have DOUBT is when my path becomes blocked by something not in line with my beliefs. It is my natural defense to question this, since blind acceptance could actually be harmful if not dealt with immediately on a physical, mental, or even spiritual level of action on my part. In other words....I drive my CHARIOT...no one else. Sometimes I may go off the path a bit, but it is because I let it, not by the actions of others....or worse...the NON-ACTION of myself ! Doubt is the line of defense which filters the unknown to me as either helpful...or harmful. FAITH, although needed in some ways, should never be at your reigns of life, but more as a counsel, where DOUBT is your Barbarian body-guard !
 
Lead your own path...take the helm of your ship...plot your course based on experience and knowledge...not a blind 'hunch'. Remember the Chariot card....balance your steeds of FAITH and DOUBT to help pull you to your destinations in life...and arrive !
