17 - The Star of Hope

Let's see where we've been since the Hermit...

 Find what side of the wheel you are on and capitalize on the moment you're in the flow, or learn how to navigate through the obstacles when the flow seems against you.

Karma will find you one way or another so recognize your actions have consequences...

The Hanged Man (Perspective)

Take time out at least 15 minutes a day and just be STILL. Clear your thoughts (along with all those radio and TV ads in your head) and focus on  HEARING what your spirit needs.

Take time to just BE.

13 - Death (The Phoenix)

This transition can be quite emotional since this number 13 card denotes change at a cost...sometimes
a great one at that shown by the height of her fall.

 

This part of the journey is where our Fool learns to part with the negative vibes that have been clinging to her up till now: Wrath... Greed... Sloth... Pride... Lust... Envy...Gluttony. She needs to get back to basics: Faith... Hope... Love... and concentrate on the essentials of life in order to move forward as...

...THE PHOENIX...REBORN ANEW !!

With Temperance there is always a "give and take" symbiosis that maintains balance. When your life is in balance, others parts will follow: increased health (both mentally and physically), and a centered-secure feeling of peace and harmony.

15 - The Devil

 Stop looking in the mirror and instead look around you. Smell the air of a new day full of hope and possibilities. Know that the only master of your life is the person reflected in that mirror....YOU !!!

When we see the Tower card we need to ask the question, "Has this happened yet?", because if it hasn't...

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"......meaning that it is better to avoid some situations all-together,  rather than evoking the "wait-and-see" approach !!! Learn to trust your inner voice and get the hell-outta-Dodge !

17 - The Star

Seem familiar? Ever been at the window of your life and wondered...

....is this it? Is this all there is to my life? Will I always be this way...alone and depressed...watching the world from the outside in? We all have at some point...some more than others. Some reading this post may still...

Maybe your relationships with past loves haven't been up to par? Maybe you're stuck in a dead-end job since high school while those around you have moved on to higher learning? What about those bills that are stacking up on the kitchen table unpaid? Where is the money going to come from to cover those?

I chose this photo to represent the true power of the Star card : HOPE.

With the Star, there is purpose to go on...a sort of "answer to your prayers". When this card turns up within your reading, look for the shinning light of the Star to help guide you through the darkness.

The Star also represents an inner strength that is awakened after a slumber of despair  Like a bolt from the heavens slapping you out of your trance. Have faith in your future, dear friend. Each day has the potential to be the beginning of the rest of your life !

But what of the spiritual nature of this card? Could this be help from "above"?

YES !

The Star can take on many forms...but all are answers to your prayers. 

• The person you had your eye on romantically some how just "happens" to bump into you in a hallway, allowing for some conversation to ensue.
• The position you were waiting for at your work opens up because someone had to move away...and they recommended YOU to fill the spot ! 
• Or how about when a charity helps you clear some of your bills and help you get caught up financially?

All of these are your wishes coming true...right when your candle of faith seems to be losing it's flame !

The lesson of the Star is simple: Have HOPE ! Without hope we are saying we are alone in the universe, unable to receive help from anyone or "Anything". We know this not to be true. We all have friends, family, co-workers, even strangers with a kind heart that could lend a hand when you least expect any help. And for the "big" requests....

...have hope there is an answer that can travel across all the dimensions and all the universes to reach you no matter how desperate the time in your life....

...an answer of LOVE !!
