- Why I wish to join The Temple & how I found out about it...
- In sorting through my library I came across Ophiel's book on creative visualization and read it. Then I went to the internet to see what was available there under the name Ophiel. That is how I discovered The Temple Site.
- About Myself & My Interests...
- I am a 72 year old retired woman living in Panamá. I have been interested in the 'occult' since 1972. My interests include art, music, literature, nature, walking,
- My Teachers & Influences, What was it about them that influenced me?
- A wide variety. My introduction was a tarot deck, the aquarian age deck. A friend advised me not to take the subject lightly, I went to the book store to explore the subject and The Book of Thoth fell off the shelf at my feet. I purchased that book and found it to be so cryptic that I determined to understand the subject. That was the beginning. From there I purchased many books by many authors, Aleister Crowley, Paul Case, Eliphas Lévi, Dion Fortune, and many others to include Ophiel. However, I didn't read his book although I had picked it up many times until two days ago and I wanted to read more about what he had to say.
- Authors and/or Books I appreciate:
- I am very eclectic in my taste for books and appreciate a variety of authors in many genres. I prefer non fiction books especially informative ones. Thomas Troward, CGJung, Leví, Ashcroft Nowicki, Falkner, Stienbeck, oh, so many more.
- Musicians and/or Music I appreciate:
- I like most all music, classical, new age, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Folk, Indigenous,
- Films and/or Film-Makers & Actors I appreciate:
- Again, a wide variety, well made films, good acting, story lines that provoke thought. I don't really have favorites. Today I pay attention to films by Julian Moore, Kevin Spacy, Nicole Kidman, Emma Thomson, Tim robins, Anthony Hopkins, etc. etc.
- Artists and/or Art I appreciate:
- I appreciate art. I consider my self an artist. Picasso, da Vinci, Cézanne, Monet. Gauguin,Van gogh,Paul Klee, Frida Kahlo, Dalí, Renoir, and many unknown artist, I simply enjoy looking at art in all its forms.
