Along with the Gargoyle photo already posted here at the Temple, I thought it would be appropriate to include its traveling companion - the Gryphon.

As with the Gargoyle, I found it necessary to endure...ha, ha...the actual restoration and re-creation of this beautifully imposing creature. The wings/fangs/forked tongue/eyes and overall colorings/appearance were addressed by my taking quite a few liberties overall with both physical repair/replacement and, of course, colorings.

This Gryphon is also included in a photo within which it accompanies the "Night Passage" wood etching.
