Just to let everyone know about a sister group here at TI., Lady Luna.which  promises to be yet another wonderful place in cyber space to hang out for those seriously affected by the Moon.

I popped in there a while ago and was inspire to share something with everybody here, too :)

Now that curse is broken and totally ineffectual. 

Well, you see, my lunar kin, the ancient traditions of Goddess worship did not actually die out as a result of the centuries of persecutions of the Old Religion.

On the contrary!

A great part of Witchcraft - genuine witchcraft, the practice of the Craft of the Wise, is concerned with Luna. Of course, no one would be that foolish as to believe that the Moon as a planet should be worshipped per se, as the planets and stars were always named after the Gods and not vice versa. However the Moon is ruled by the same primal power of Nature that rules Water, and is the Yin; as the Sun is the Yang.

Luna is the personification of the Divine Feminine; and asides from which, we are all affected by Luna's cycles whether one wishes to believe in it or not - as we are all made up mainly of water; and the magnetic influence of the Moon, Earth's satellite, on all living here on Earth, cannot be denied by even the most backwardly superstitious folk.

The thirteen lunar months which used to make up the pre-Gregorian calendar ended and began with the cycles of the Moon, which is why the number 13 was specifically chosen to be "the witches number/unlucky number" (meowth)

The Moon in reality is not our Satellite, it is a sister planet, instead, since Earth and Moon rotate over the same axis, so the confusion, but it does not rotate around the Earth, like satellites do, with other planets that do have satellites!

But it influences and rules the tides on our Earth and definitely there is an affinity between the waters and the Moon, very physical, and then, on the inner planes, very spiritual and emotional.

People's psychic is very much affected by the Moon specially when is full, and it affects the crops on the Earth, at all times of the month.
Our life, without the Moon, would not be anywhere like we have known it with it!
