The Sea Cemetery: In Memory of Syrian Refugees
May 11 2016 - More than 4000 Syrian refugees have died trying to cross the Mediterranean.
Support to Life, an international humanitarian aid agency, created a sea cemetery in the mediterranean, consisting of two hundred graves in the mediterranean inscribed with some of the names of the refugees who drowned, to make these deaths, that most of us know are happening but ignore, more visible.
“We want to bring worldwide attention to this issue. By expanding our refugee support program, we aim to provide a better life for more refugees”
