2012 or 2020?

I just discovered something extremely intriguing! The Mayan calendar was on target to end in 2012 at which time the Mayans felt that a new age of light would be birth. We waited with anticipation. What would happen? Nothing!? It came and went without fanfare and of course the sceptics had a field day. But wait! Yesterday my husband Gary casually mentioned to me that the great physicist Stephen Hawking said that the Mayan calendar was off 8 years Wait what??? That would mean 2020!

However in a conversations with some of the Mayan elders about the 2012 prediction. They said that the true wisdom keepers of their nation had been killed off by the Spaniards hundreds of years ago and that 2012 was based on what the succeeding generation of Elders could determine. The Mayan calendar was based on how our solar system transits in the galaxy and the ancients were able to track this with extreme accuracy. In yoga philosophy these transits are called the yugas.

But what if Stephen Hawking was right?? What does that mean for us in 2020? Well it sure appears as though the world we inhabit is teetering on something. The Mystics say that the Earth is a school for us to learn to work with energy, emotions and free will. It appears there is more opportunity in 2020 than we realize. Are we birthing something new as we watch our world crumble?

Energy is contagious whether it be negative or positive. The only way we will make a shift to a higher consciousness is by taking personal responsibility for our healing, releasing misguided beliefs that keep us bound in shame, guilt or powerlessness. The most challenging issue we seem to be working on now is to fully embody our light, wisdom and purpose. The ego would have it otherwise.

YOU are essential to this shift in consciousness if it is to occur it requires each of us.

Begin today with a new attitude of purpose. Let’s strengthen and utilize our free will.

Maintain our own personal balance and focus
Be a portal for change
Heal, so the children can evolve without having to retrace their past.
