Etymology of the word "Prophet"
The English word "prophecy" (noun) in the sense of "function of a prophet" appeared in Europe from about 1225, from Old French profecie (12th century), and from Late Latin prophetia, Greek prophetia "gift of interpreting the will of God", from Greek prophetes (see prophet). The related meaning "thing spoken or written by a prophet" is from c. 1300, while the verb "to prophesy" is recorded by 1377.[3]

The word prophecy comes from the Greek verb, προφημι (prophemi), which means “to say beforehand, foretell”; it is a combination of the Greek words, προ and φημι. The Greek prefix προ also means "before," "in front of," so etymologically προφημι means to speak in front of, as a spokesperson.[4]

Ok, now we have a definition, the word Prophecy does relate to the Word of God or just the Word. In Kabbalah the Word originates in Daath, located in the throat chakra, ruled by Taurus.

Now, according to the occult studies, such as Aleister Crowley for an example. "Love is the Law, Love under Will" right? Well Will is Thelema in Greek its number is 93, so is the word Agape! From my understanding he specifically stated "Every man and woman is a star" this is talkingabout the Divine spark we have in us right? And WHO has the right to prophecize to us to tell us what is what?

How does this align with people claiming to be prophets? ALL "predictions" from a prophet not coming from within you, IS FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are not genuine messenger of "God", and if you studied the occult then you know that especially Aleister Crowley stated that the messenger is the Holy Guardian Angel, his was Aiwass. The false prophets misled you AWAY FROM DIVINITY, and leads you
to fear, and being manipulated and then, false doctrine and more to the point they know that you will never find the divine spark as long as you are following someone else's "prophecies" , a true prophet leads you to the divine within, I dont care if that damn 'prophet' has predicted certain accurate events, they are STILL FALSE! In fact from a biblical prerspective it would be using trickery.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Genuine Prophets Abide In Love.
1 John 4:7 ….for God is Love and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. (Love is the law, love under Will)

1John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Now this isnt just about your immediate environment of the ego but this is about the things , things created by man that are unnatural. Telling a person about what is going to happen, behind all this isnt about "warning" this is about telling you, YOU ARE A SLAVE, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE
THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN WHETHER YOU WANT THEM TO OR NOT. This sounds more like someone to lead you away from YOUR WILL, true will! If I may, that High Magic for an example, and the study of Kabalah, Buddhism, Yoga (Crowley also made use of meditation) and the like, and applying
the disciplines taught, this isnt about self denial, like for an example, if you are angry, meditate, you let yourself FEEL and then let go, letting it go right through you instead of hanging onto it.
All the detachment, fasting, certain clothing, and staying away from certain things are all symbols of MASTERY, not self denial. A prophet may APPEAR to be like this but a false prophet will lead you astray away from your True Will.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
So most already know fear is a low vibrational frequency and cancels out the frequency of love. I am not talking the love and light. That is another false teaching many teach today. LOVE is NOT about loving abusers, or conditioning yourself to be abused, it is not about being a damn dormat. Love is very very misunderstood. So if you are going believe these predictions, or whatever someone tells you that
will cause fear or whatever other negativity that comes up then it is false.

What is love? 1 Corinthians 13 : 4- 8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (this is a good one concerning false prophets and about the Will!)
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
(this is very profound meaning about the Word, and prophets, true or false, because it becomes transcendent)

Love as I stated is not about love and light, or anything like that. There is a reason why the heart chakra was associated with compassion. Because NO ONE CAN TOUCH YOU if you have true love in your heart. This reminds me of when Dumbledore told Harry Potter that it leaves a Mark that cant be seen. Lord Voldemort couldnt touch. It was love.
And do you see Harry Potter being a doormat? NO! Here is another example of prophecies, most think the Bible is for Christians or Jews but I tell you it is not for it has ties to ancient Schools of Mysteries. Here is an example Oracles, who used prophecy. The Oracle of Delphi dedicated to Apollo, this Oracle was Androygnous and was the one who HELPED HERCULES to restore his God-hood! THAT RIGHT THERE JUST GOES
HAND IN HAND WITH THESE PASSAGES IN THE BIBLE. So after all the Bible original translation was not Hebrew but GREEK. If you love your enemies, this does not make you a doormat,that does not mean give them. If you "love God or Goddess" or both, and know the divine spark of them both or either of them resides within you then you know not to have self-love, which is not same as pride, pride is for those who seek
strength from material things and thrive on other people's recognition, denoting a hole within themself. But with Love it is a different story, loving your enemies, using your "heart" you transform all that negativity or whatever is thrown at you and transmute it. This is where Alchemy comes in and this is why Aleister Crowley stated that the heart is the Christ Center, and the sun square 666 is applied here.
In fact there is no need to do anything to "harm" because if you are content within yourself then you rarely need to curse them. But it is said that God suppose to take care of that "cursing" and bring justice, yes that is what it means. When you achieve Enlightenment, it will automically be given to them. For you are protected.
So the same goes for these false prophets. I dont care if their predictions are accurate or not. There is a reason for it.

So does a Prophet use Magic? Yes the Word is about COMMAND originating from the Throat! Prophets often commanded elements, did miracles, all of it by the use of Magic. After all didnt the Magi come visited Jesus himself? Oh yes. Simon the Sorcerer. He transformed his Art of Sorcery into something more powerful by the use of Alchemy. In fact the entire bible, is an alchemy text or sort of a grimoire when read
correctly.

Yes the influencing using of the Word. This is why we vibrate mantras and names of power. Or Barbarous names and so on.

There is my take on these people who are doing "fortune tellings", using "prophecies" in whatever name of their god or goddess says, even the word prophet is simply for those who understand the difference. It doesnt matter if their predictions are accurate or not, they are still false!

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Mark 13:32-33, Once again, this is applied to prophecies. Prophets do not predict "end of the World" or whatever events to happen, they are making reference to God or Divinity's return within yourself which should be NO FEAR!

Good job! It is raw and to the point. For the most part I agree about prophesies being false, or at least self-fulfilling. (the "no FEAR" part, excellent!)
