4 of Cups (See the beauty from within yourself)

I love this photo, Pagan ! Black and white sure knows how to capture the inner soul of a person. I can see the wisdom she has collected over her long lifetime. She is unaware of her wrinkles...or better yet...knows they are there and yet doesn't give a rat's ass ! She is at total peace with her self...not rejecting the aging body but instead...embracing it with jewelry and a fine robe with lace and everything! Her eyes have seen many moons...and the fact that one of her eyes has turned white is soooo symbolic of the moon and it's message: Looking within. She always has her vision on both the physical and spiritual now, an equal balance, allowing her to stay "tuned in". After looking for a few moments at her smile and eyes...I got the impression she even knew a bit about me! Now that's being in tune!

I choose the 4 of Water from the Osho Zen deck because it screamed this woman. I just posted a video on the 4 of cups and one of the meanings is a need to look within yourself. This woman has mastered this ! I wouldn't doubt she teaches on the subject in her village. She has accepted who she is, what she believes, and where she will be going when she departs this world. When someone has that stance, you can see it in their eyes....

..and this lady is whispering "Life?...Ha...Bring it on !"
