The results you get from the use of substances are not the same as the results you get from disciplined spiritual practices such as prayer, chanting, drumming and meditation. If you're just consuming cannabis, hallucinogens, alcohol, tobacco and other such substances for fun then that is what it is and don't claim that you know how to use them for spiritual or religious purposes. If you do actually belong to a religious tradition that uses these types of substances within the tradition then more power to you!
