Why I wish to join The Temple & how I found out about it...: I wish to join The Temple because I believe in its message and philosophy, and feel I may find like minded people and a supportive community among the people here.
About Myself & My Interests...: I am a young artist living and working in Massachusetts, I can pretty much get interested in anything but I do love all things art and science related. I also love people and the history of us, I love to explore the different religious and spiritual practices, and philosophies of the world. I am passionate about learning and love all the teachers of the world.
My Teachers & Influences, What was it about them that influenced me?: I have had many great teachers in my life but some of the most important have been my parents and my sister. My sister read a lot of books as a young child and was always at the top of her class, I never did so well with the structure of public schooling but she always showed me that I just have to trust myself in order to be successful.
Authors and/or Books I appreciate:: I appreciate so many authors but some of my favorite writers are; Bill Watterson, Chuck Palahniuk, Ray Bradbury, Allen Ginsburg...
Musicians and/or Music I appreciate:: Some artists I like are; Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Pete Seeger, The Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Mississippi John Hurt, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, Leonard Cohen...
Films and/or Film-Makers & Actors I appreciate:: I like the Cohen brothers a lot, also anything that Jim Carrey makes, I think Rowan Atkinson is brilliant, Edward Norton is great, Francis McDormand, Daniel Day-Lewis as well, so many great contemporary actors, also will always like Ingrid Bergman, Judy Garland (Francis Ethel Gumm), and other golden age actors. I love film so much that the list could go on and on.
Artists and/or Art I appreciate:: I love so many artists but I will keep the list short and just Painters: Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Vermeer, Jean Michel Basquiat, Frida Kahlo, Gustav Klimt, Odilon Redon.
