Why I wish to join The Temple & how I found out about it...
To help keep Rumi's message vital in the world.
About Myself & My Interests...
I’m a bookworm, mystic, amateur scientist and lover of ladybugs who studied Literature and Creative Writing at University of California, Santa Cruz and The Stanford Online Writer’s Workshop. Also, I dabbled in French at Monterey Institute of International Studies and La Sorbonne, Paris. I’ve worked as a freelance journalist, Infant Massage Instructor, flight attendant, substitute teacher and lay minister. At the moment, I live in California in a musty old cottage behind an unruly garden with my husband and our son. The Mad Mystical Journey of L.C. Littleman is my upcoming first published novel.
My Teachers & Influences, What was it about them that influenced me?
Lao Tzu, Rumi, Mary Baker Eddy, Joel Goldsmith, Paul Gorman,
have appeared as individual voices, however, The Master Teacher abiding within me, remains nameless.
Authors and/or Books I appreciate:
The Infinite Way, Joel Goldsmith
Science and Health, Mary Baker Eddy
The Soul of Rumi, Essential Rumi, Coleman Banks
The Bhagavad Gita, trans. Eknath Easwaran
The Tao of Leadership, John Heider
The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint Exupéry
Just So Stories, Rudyard Kipling
The Holy Bible, The Aramaic of the Peshitta
Dhammapada
Waiting for Godot, Samuel Beckett
One Hundred Years of Solitude, Marquez
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Doug Adams
...O I could go on! I love to read!
