Why I wish to join The Temple & how I found out about it...

Saw it on face book. I get tired of making the journey without companions. Had a lot of disappointments, but willing to try again.

About Myself & My Interests...

I am a croning, private practice psychologist (I do not work well for others). I specialise in trauma in realtionship with self, others, the envioronment and occasionally with the gods. I find myself a mentor to those who find me. I am a Jungian oriented pattern reader fascinated by the connections above and below in the world. I am a seeker of knowledge. I am a bibliophile and musical (I do not claim to be a fine musician, tho I play keyboard and celtic harp and have sung professionally), I garden and bake and cook. I am a strong introvert with the blessing and curse of older knowedge and an older way of seeing than many people consider. I am an empath always looking to become more adept.

My Teachers & Influences, What was it about them that influenced me?

Teachers? My grandmother who kept me isolated and taught me to live to serve and to follow the old ways. The English teacher who introduced me to Jung, Freud and those like. My late husband who was my anchoring bedrock and who took me to live at home in England where I had not been in this life. My failing beloved who is, by this experience forcing me to ponder all I know and find what is and is not my truth.

Authors and/or Books I appreciate:

Jung and books about Jungian themes, Hymnals ( which I collect as part of my love of music), Star Trek novels, Dan Brown and his ilk. and, in general, the thousands of books that line my walls on everything from literature to quantam physics, from poetry to dissociation, from history to cookbooks..

Musicians and/or Music I appreciate:

Music of Baroque and before, Christmas music, folk music, anything by anyone that speaks to me in whatever genre. Lately one of my "students, who is 23, has be plying me with a metal rock/irish folk meld

Films and/or Film-Makers & Actors I appreciate:

I watch any and everything that has a decent plot or an onteresting idea.
