About Myself & My Interests...

I'm a licensed mental healthcare professional with a doctorate in clinical psychology, trying to return soul to the lives of my clients and enjoying my passion for depth psychology. I am not a materialist (neither was C.G. Jung) and am open to the mysteries of the psyche and universe.

My Teachers & Influences, What was it about them that influenced me?

At 16 I discovered Joseph Campbell, J. Krishnamurti, and C.G. Jung. They remain my inspirations and mentors today.

Authors and/or Books I appreciate:

Too many, but I'll mention C.G. Jung's Symbols of Transformation since I'm slowing rereading it these days.

Musicians and/or Music I appreciate:

Currently I'm listening to a lot of the musical works of the classical Russian composer Ippolitov-Ivanov.

Films and/or Film-Makers & Actors I appreciate:

Haven't seen a film in a long time. Heard some wonderful things about 'Boyhood'.I love the films of Richard Linklater, so I suppose I would love it. I especially loved his trilogy Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight.

Artists and/or Art I appreciate:

Haven't been to a gallery in a long time. I used to love going to the Getty to look at the paintings of Kasimir Malevich.
