Sacrifice

A dream / knowing, I had last night:

It was that Clifford, the Big Red Dog, is a sacrifice.

To me, there are several layers to this, and not sure which direction to go.

The word "is" equals =. Also, what's your definition of sacrifice>

And what do you associate with Clifford?

I got it. My late husband would sometimes watch the cartoon. I think Clifford was chosen because I would catch the association, whereas if it were more science / galactic (Star Trek, etc...), it could have been anything.

So interesting that Clifford was a part of your dream. In the last month I have been reading Clifford books with my daughter, and watching the cartoon. Had a guest over for a few days and we had a discussion two days ago how her name is Emily Elizabeth just like the girl on Clifford. 

Perhaps your late husband is trying to communicate with you?

Perhaps. I've been releasing trapped emotions from that time period also, so it could be an acknowledgement of that.

That is interesting though how Clifford has also been a part of your life recently.

All dogs are regarded as a sacrifice in a spiritual way in my order.. If you one day chose to create a dream personality about yourself being a dog, or rather becoming a dog in your dream you´ll understand what I mean.

It´s a mystery really but the dream world is getting more and more dogs around and there´s an urgency about them..It bodes badly for humanity I fear, but then almost everything does so no big deal really..

Hi Rebecca!  Sacrifice doesn't always have a literal meaning.  Sometimes it may mean letting go, releasing.  If the dog is somehow connected in your associations to a particular person, it could mean letting go of past feelings and emotions, forgiving and forgetting the hurt, moving on etc.
