Hello!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the site, and am already very pleased with its culture of open minded exchange of ideas pertaining to the metaphysical.  I hope I can both learn from all of you and contribute to our collective and ongoing enlightenment.

I have joined this Temple as I physically live in isolation from like minded individuals, and have decided to forego my self-enforced solitude regarding metaphysical matters in favor of communion with others.  I do not expect everyone, or anyone for that matter, to agree with me (though I suspect many of us agree on much), but am excited to both discover and share new perspectives.

So, what's my rap?

(takes a deep breath)

Well...

...I am interested in a formal and public reconciliation of magick, science, and analytic/phenomenological philosophy, most notably through a critical analysis of the Qabalah and its congruence with the aforementioned schools of thought and their syncretism therein.  I extend my thinking to all spheres of reality, even to what some would call the mundane. (I believe there is much to be learned from undertaking an analysis of the seemingly obvious.)  Ultimately, however, my thinking tends towards those realities most would consider to be impossible, and I hope to one day live to see the realization of a humanity that will contemplate these realities (from a perspective of reason, observation, and when required, faith).

On a less formal note, I enjoy great music, good friends, mediocre but convenient food, bad movies, and one particularly horrible habit of mine, caffeine and nicotine in unusually large quantities.
