"Always live in the NOW...even when you're older"

   What is "living in the NOW anyway?" Is it some cryptic message that only gurus and spiritualist can understand on how to achieve? Or can anyone experience the joy ? How about the old?

   While we are young, we don't think about how to do this...we just DO ! We wear our hair the way that makes us feel good, we put on clothes that are vibrant and full of colors, we wear jewelry that reminds us of life...smooth stones that are cool to the touch....and images of nature close to our heart we adore. We surround ourselves with life and it's energy while we are young because that is how we feel: YOUNG ! At this stage in our lives we are not thinking of how long we have left to live...we just LIVE ! This is "living in the NOW"...

   As Luna's photo here suggests, the lady enjoys her moment of NOW...rings, bracelets, necklaces, feathers...and colors, colors, COLORS ! Is the young lady overdoing it or is she just having fun exploring all the senses she could possibly feel? Again....surround yourself with the experiences of life all around us...music, art, literature, nature, the sciences....we are recorders of experience. Don't waste your time in a plain paper bag, journeying nowhere but "to-and-from" work or school....you will deny moments that can last a lifetime....and maybe beyond....

   Our poor old lady friend here has squandered her experiences like a treasure kept behind a brick wall !! Like a miser she has horded the chance to live life in the NOW until the end of her lifetime, when it is too late to remember what experiencing life is really all about. Yes she may have lots of shiny things, but what good is it to her if she doesn't know what to do with them except keep them in a chest ?!

   Start living your life as if you were young at heart always ! If you start living in the NOW at an early age, and keep doing so all your life, physical years won't mean a thing if you are enjoying everything you can as if you were when you were younger. This older woman can't stop her smile from bursting forth, and do you know why?

It's because she's the same young lady from this post....

...she hasn't forgotten how to live...even NOW !
